I cannot declare my primary device and received an error “Primary device was previously added”. What could be the issue?

According to the primary device policy, you are allowed to declare a mobile phone and a laptop as primary devices to your registered mobile number.

If you encounter the error message 'primary device was previously added' while declaring your primary device, it might be due to the following reasons:

  • You have declared your device as the primary device to a different mobile number, possibly your previous or second mobile number.
  • You have declared your device as the primary device for a different mobile number. This is the number you used to access a previously purchased course, which has now expired.
  • Your device was declared as the primary device by your friends or family to access courses they purchased with their mobile numbers.
